> Bulls — Traded Matt Guokas to Kings for 1976 third round pick (#37-Lars Hansen), 1977 second round pick (#30-Steve Sheppard) on 1975-12-08

There is a discrepancy here, in that the Guokas trade actually happened before the other two trades, and The Sporting News states that the pick the Bulls got from the Kings was later traded to the Braves. However, the pick traded to the Braves would seem to be a different pick (#24 overall) based on the draft order that we have. Our draft order is from the 77-78 NBA Guide, so it would seem to be correct. It's also possible that there were conditions on some of these picks— e.g., "Bulls get the lowest second round pick that Kings have at the time of the draft"— that distributed the picks in a manner that doesn't follow the chronological sequence in which they were traded.

45 3-1 Nets

> Kings — Traded Larry McNeill to Nets for 1977 third round pick (#45-Bill Paterno) on 1976-09-09

TSN shows this pick going from the Nets to the Kings in the Nate Archibald trade, which is confusing because no description of that trade has included a third round pick. Their information could simply be wrong.
